Why Is My 2FA Code Invalid?
An invalid TOTP code is often caused by a clock mismatch, an incomplete secret, or submitting a code too close to expiration.
First, enable automatic date and time on your device. TOTP depends on the current time, so a large clock offset produces a different code from the server.
Check that the secret is complete and has no extra spaces. If a code is about to expire, wait for the next code and submit it promptly.
How to use it
- Turn on automatic date and time.
- Copy the complete secret and remove extra spaces.
- Wait for the next code and submit it before the timer ends.
